From April, 2019, I have been working as a research scientist (Applied AI, Cloud & IoT) at Hitachi Central Research Laboratory in Tokyo.
In September 2019, I was named one of Kenya’s top 40 Under 40 by the Business Daily.
My interests lie in Applied AI Research: the deployment of machine learning algorithms to real-world systems, noting that the constraints in the experimental setup are different from those in the real world. I research on the best practices for the entire Machine Learning Life Cycle, from the identification of a business goal all the way to solution deployment and continuous monitoring & improvement.
